Year Round At-Risk Food Service Programs

The YMCA partners with multiple locations during the school year to supply a supper program to youth of Beaver County through the CACFP Program.

The following locations are Open Sites where any child under the age of 18 may go to receive dinner during the weekly servicing times.

Summer Playground Programs

The Beaver County YMCA is excited to announce the opening of our annual FREE playground programs in our local communities. The playground program has many things to offer including weekly themes such as sports, superheroes, among many others. Swimming lessons and field trips will be sure to make it a great summer. Each playground is supervised by a YMCA staff certified in CPR and First Aid. The children must be entering kindergarten through sixth grade unless accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Summer Food Service Programs

The YMCA delivers and serves FREE meals to many locations throughout Beaver and Lawrence County. These lunches are eligible to children 18 years and younger. Following the mission of the YMCA we promise to serve meals without any discrimination based on race, religion, gender, and ethnicity.

Dates: June 6th – August 23th

Days: Monday – Friday (Saturdays at some locations)

Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner/Snacks depending on location

Beaver County YMCA is requesting a waiver from 7 CFR 225.16(c)(2) to extend breakfast and snack service times beyond one hour up to an hour and a half meal service time to accommodate specific sites.
This is required public notice that the Beaver County YMCA submitted a request to USDA that would allow the continued use of serving Breakfast and /or Snacks beyond the one-hour limit.
