Summer Community Pools

The Beaver County YMCA manages 2 outdoor aquatic facilities during the summer.

2017 POOL INFORMATION

 
Pools will be closed during weekdays when school is session.  
Rain Policy: If it is raining between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m., we will not open the pool. The weather will be re-evaluated between 2 and 3 p.m. for a 3 p.m. opening.
Temperature Policy: If the pool water or air temperatures are not expected to reach 73 degrees, we will not open the pool.
 

Scout Days

Ages: 6 and Up

The Beaver County YMCA is now offering Scout Days for Boy Scouts and Girl Scout Troops to increase their water safety knowledge. Topics can include water safety, boating safety, and water swim testing. Troops will cover the topic and have the opportunity to stay and swim! Contact the Aquatic Director to reserve your date today!

PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS

Ages: 2 and Up

6 -30 minute classes held once a week. Register at the desk and receive a call within 24 hours to schedule the days and times.
Fee: Member $70/Non-Members $120

 

American Red Cross Lifeguard Course

Provides entry-level participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries, and sudden illness until EMS personnel take over.

Prerequisites: 

  •           Minimum age of 15 years old
  •           Swim 300 yards continuously
  •           Tread Water for 2 minutes using only the legs
  •           Complete a timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds

Class Dates: 

Session 1: Saturday, April 22nd & Sunday, April 23rd

Session 2: Saturday, May 20th & Sunday, May 21st

Times: 9:00AM-3:30PM
Fee: Members: $225; Non-Members: $250
