Classes offered include:

Silver& Fit Experience – This class is for the moderately active older adults. The class is designed to increase the participants flexibility, joint stability, dynamic balance, coordination, agility, reaction-time, muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance.


SilverSneakers® Circuit – Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball is alternated with nonimpact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises. See aerobic schedule for class times!


SilverSneakers® Yoga – Yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

Seniors for Safe Driving


If you are 55 or older, join us for a driver-awareness and behavior-modification program. There is no on the-road driving or classroom testing. Students must attend both sessions. Course completion may qualify you for an auto insurance discount of 5%. Check with your insurance agent. Two-day certification classes are for first- time attendees. Single-day classes are for re-certification only.

Come join us for PICKLEBALL! A paddle sport (similar to a racquet sport) that combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. Two, three and four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a wiffle ball, over a net to increase agility and endurance and fun! Active Older Adult Land and Water Aerobic Programs

Group exercise is one of many ways the Y supports members in achieving their health and wellness goals. The YMCA Group Exercise Programs improve health, encourage social interaction and with motivating music, are one of the most enjoyable ways to move and feel great. Highly trained staff members lead the programs and offer modifications to movements to assist those at different levels or those with injuries. There are class formats that deliver a fun and effective exercise experience in a supportive group setting. Each has been professionally designed and tested through a comprehensive program development process, and all are continually refreshed so the programs evolve with the latest trends in group exercise and to keep you motivated and moving.


Group Exercise Classes are FREE and included with a YMCA Membership. No registration is necessary.



Walk and Talk – Thursday’s at 9am. 

This walking program is designed for individuals interested in walking for health and fitness or maintaining a healthy weight.  Low impact aerobic class is conducted indoors or outdoors weather permitting, which will allow participants to walk miles in a fun group setting.  No equipment will be used in this 30 minute class.  Grab your walking shoes, a jacket and your water for some low to moderate intensity fun!
