YMCA CHILD WATCH INFORMATION

Our Child Watch program serves children ages six months old to seven years old. This service is offered to members and guests as a FREE service. Parents are to use Child Watch for a time increment of up to two hours while they use YMCA facilities such as the wellness center, taking a class at our YMCA, etc. Parents/Guardians are not to leave the building while the child is in Child Watch.

Child Watch is filled with age-appropriate activities for your child to utilize while they are in our care. Our staff provide a safe, fun environment where they engage in activities with your child. While in Child Watch your child may participate in arts/crafts, story time, music, and guided play.

Here at the YMCA, we know that keeping children active is just as important as keeping our adult members active. Our Child Watch program is no exception. With our Kid Fit programming, we keep the children in Child Watch engaged in gross motor activities such as walks, utilizing the gym, and using the obstacle course room set up from our Childcare department.

When you arrive for the first time, please see the front desk to register for use of our Child Watch program. When ready to drop off, please ring the bell for the Child Watch room where our staff will help you and your child(ren) get checked in. Please provide any diapers, wipes, bottles/drinks, etc. that your child will need during their time in Child Watch. This will enable are staff to provide the best care possible to your child while you enjoy your time at the YMCA.

We strive on providing a safe and fun space for your child while you using our YMCA.
