The character word is LEADERSHIP. Leadership is a big word and can can include many different aspects to it. For our program, we decided to focus on what it is to lead by example to those around us. People say not everyone is a born leader and I agree somewhat, but I do also believe everyone has an opportunity to be a leader in some way, shape or form. Be an example of a positive attitude, of respect, of hustle, of listening, of teamwork, of sharing, of all the character traits we talked about this fall. Take what you learned on the field and lead by example with your friends at school or your siblings at home and keep making a positive difference wherever you go!
